Having lived in Norfolk since birth, I have unfortunately been burdened with supporting Norwich City for the rest of my life. My dad took me to my first game at Carrow Road when I was six years old, and my love for football and most things sport blossomed from there. My love of American sports and travel has also seen me visit the 'Land of the Free' numerous times in the last few years. In doing so, I have adopted a second club to support, Orlando City, who I have since seen live numerous times and on both coasts of the North American continent.
My principal inspiration in journalism takes the form of motoring journalists and television personalities Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. Clarkson in particular has influenced my written voice, with his 'unique' commentary on an extensive range of topics including cars, Norfolk, death, and America. What's more, as a Norwich fan, I have grown up relying on articles from the Eastern Daily Press and The Pink Un to remain in the know about my team.
Having completed A-Levels in History, English Literature, German, and Physical Education, I am currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in History at the University of Warwick where I write for the university's student publication, The Boar. I also write for two online sports news publications, VAVEL and MLS Multiplex (part of the FanSided Group). In June 2025, I completed a week's work experience at the Eastern Daily Press.
As an Orlando fan and keen football shirt collector, I have recently created an Instagram account where I showcase my collection and share stories from my travels supporting the club. A selection of my work can be found on the 'Orlando City Jerseys' tab or by clicking here. The account can be located by following the icon at the top of this page or by clicking here.
Moving about Norfolk, however, can be fun. I am used to having people point as I go by. Most shout, "Hey, look, it's a Cosworth!" but in Norfolk they shout, "Hey, look, it's a car!"
